H.E.A.T is a body of independent electrical, mechanical and Air conditioning installers, who back up contractors with regular training in their trade and support them in their business to ensure that best practice is observed at all times.  Members of H.E.A.T have to prove their technical competence and sign a code of conduct for dealing with customers.

Members agree to;

• be committed to the development of their own business opportunities and o deal promptly and efficiently with customer enquires and provide free written estimates.

• warrant all customers that all Goods supplied and/or Services performed shall correspond with their description at the time of delivery and completion, as appropriate, and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a minimum period of 12 months thereafter.

• act with all reasonable skill care and diligence to the level generally followed by recognized contractors providing services and goods of a similar nature.

As a minimum requirement them member shall ensure electrical installation work complies with the latest edition of the IEE Regulations for the Electrical Equipment of Buildings as may be in force at the time such work is carried out to effect and maintain appropriate insurance.
